New GPHF-Minilab™ method extension: Supplement 2026 now available
Following the closure of the GPHF contract laboratory, all documents and laboratory reports have been reviewed over the past few months. This sifting through raw data revealed that there was sufficient information available to publish a final Minilab test protocol for ibuprofen – one of the world’s most important painkillers. This brings the total number of active pharmaceutical ingredients that can be tested using the GPHF Minilab to 126. In addition, there is a further test protocol for the cost-effective detection of the antifreeze agents diethylene glycol and ethylene glycol as impurities in liquid oral preparations, particularly in cough syrups for children.
